A catering website that shows the food first

A five-page website for a catering business, built as a spec project: food photography first, packages that are easy to compare, and a quote one tap away.

The challenge

What needed solving.

A caterer serving Ogun, Lagos and Ibadan sells mostly through Instagram and word of mouth. The brief I set myself was a site that makes the food and the packages clear enough that a visitor asks for a quote the same day.

What I built

The parts that matter.

Quote-led design

Request a Quote and WhatsApp buttons sit in the header and through every page.

Packages that compare

Three ways to feed a table, built around the size of the event.

A gallery that filters

Plated dishes, buffets, grills and packaging can be browsed by category.

The story behind the food

An about page tells who is behind the kitchen, to build trust before the first message.

Built properly underneath

Contrast fixes for readability, structured data for search and a custom 404 page.

Decisions behind it

The colours come from the business's own look, extracted rather than invented, so the site feels like the brand that already exists.

The screens

Take a closer look.

This is a spec project. It is not live and no client work is claimed. Select any image to enlarge it.
